After five years as a news reporter at KCBS in San Francisco, Keith Menconi is departing the Audacy-owned station.
Menconi is joining the San Francisco Chronicle as a producer on its flagship podcast Fifth & Mission.

“It is so exciting that the Fifth & Mission team is growing,” said Fifth & Mission co-host Cecilia Lei. “Our listeners will get to benefit from Keith’s deep knowledge of Bay Area issues, as well as his wide range of experience with audio reporting and storytelling.”
In addition to his work as a reporter for KCBS, he also hosted the station’s weekly current events show KCBS In-Depth.
He previously worked at KQED and at English-language ICRT in Taiwan before joining KCBS.
