Joe Rogan: ‘It Would Be Interesting’ to Have Donald Trump on Podcast

Date:

After claiming Joe Rogan has no interest in hosting former President Donald Trump on his podcast, it appears that may not be the case.

During a conversation with Patrick Bet-David on The Joe Rogan Experience, the guest asked the host when Trump would be appearing.

“I don’t know,” Rogan responded. PBD then joked that Rogan’s reaction made it appear that the former President would be appearing in the near future.

“At a certain point in time, it’s just like — it would be interesting to hear his perspective on a lot of things,” Rogan said. “I would like to know what is it like when you actually get into office? I would like to know things like what is it like versus perception? What is it actually like when you get in that building? What are you greeted with? When do you know that people are f—ing with you?”

The guest continued to encourage Rogan to host Trump, but added that he has no contact with the man or his campaign.

In a recent interview, Rogan said the possibility of welcoming the former president to his top podcast had been broached before, but it’s not something he was actively seeking.

“I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once,” Rogan told Lex Fridman. “I’ve said no every time. I don’t want to help him. I’m not interested in helping him.”
