For the fifth year, 94 WIP is giving high school football teams in the area a chance to step into the spotlight on the market’s top-rated sports radio station. The station is accepting entries to play in its annual Turkey Bowl on Thanksgiving Day.
The competition is open to any high school in the eight-county Philadelphia area. The winning game will be selected by fan vote. Both schools participating in the winning game will win $3000.
On Thanksgiving Day, the broadcast duties will be handled by the station’s morning team of Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie. They will be joined on the call by Howard Eskin.
Seven games will be selected as finalists. They will be revealed on the WIP Morning Show on October 27. The winner will be announced on November 2.
