Viewership for ESPN and ABC’s coverage of the MLB Wild Card round was down year over year according to reports.

Viewership averaged 2.25 million on Tuesday and Wednesday for Games 1 and 2 of the four first round best-of-three series.

When looking at coverage in 2022, which featured weekend games, the wild card round averaged 2.73 million.

The series between the Marlins and Phillies was the most-watched, averaging 2.99 million viewers in Game 1 and 3.24 million in Game 2.
