Tide 100.9 in Tuscaloosa has moved its originating signal from the FM band to a new home on AM Radio.
The Townsquare Media station can now be heard on 1230 WTBC-AM in Tuscaloosa in addition to the 100.9 FM signal. WTBC-AM features 1,000 watts of power.

Previously, the station originated from 92.9 WTUG-HD2. Both signals will completely cover the Tuscaloosa market.
Tide 100.9‘s sister station — 95.3 The Bear — serves as the flagship of the Crimson Tide Sports Network.
