Entertainer Amber Rose spoke at the Republican National Convention Monday evening, much to the chagrin of Matt Walsh. Joe Pags couldn’t believe The Daily Wire host took the stance he did.
In a post to X, Walsh called the decision to welcome Rose to speak at the convention was “truly an embarrassment.” He added that “not a single voter will be mobilized by this person.”
In response, Joe Pags shared his disdain for Walsh’s comments.
“I don’t know Matt Walsh … he’s clearly a very smart man steeped in conservative beliefs and who will fight for what’s right. He’s tried to couch it since, but this take is beyond ridiculous,” Pags wrote in a social media post of his own.
“I am very unfamiliar with Amber Rose but I know she has influence to millions. For her to step away from a side of the aisle that is much safer for her and put her clout on the line to give her new found truth and perspective was brave.”
Rose is one of several high-profile figures to speak at the Republican National Convention this week. Country music stars Chris Janson and Lee Greenwood and TV personality Savannah Chrisley are all scheduled to speak in Milwaukee. Media members Charlie Kirk and Tucker Carlson are also on the list of speakers for the four-day convention.
