iHeartMedia layoffs are continuing this week. Sources indicate that multiple Program Directors and SVP/Programming are involved.
Carletta Blake PD – middays of WGAR/Cleveland is out. She has programmed WGAR since March 2019. Her time included mornings with Steve Waz who was laid off in March of this year.
Prior stops for Blake include WRNS/Greenville, NC. And KTYS/Dallas. Reach her here.
Rameen Madani exits from PD of Hot AC KMXP (Mix 96.9) and Top 40 (104.7 Kiss-FM)/Phoenix. Madani had been in the role since March 2022. Reach him here.
Also, in Phoenix, Joey Bradfisch has been let go from mornings at KMXP. On his Facebook page, Bradfisch posted, “I’m no longer part of MIX 96.9, & iHeartMedia. I want to thank all of the talented people I worked with the 14 years I was there. I’ve learned so much from everyone I’ve encountered, and I’m so grateful for all of it. I also want to thank all of the people that have listened to and followed my life. I’m excited to see what’s next.”
Jeff McCartney, SVP Programming and Top 40 KZHT (97.1 ZHT)/Salt Lake City PD, has left the building. He had programmed KZHT since 1998.
Dave Ashcraft, SVPP/Arkansas, has left the building in Fayetteville. He had been with the company since 2000. Reach out here.
Paul Fletcher is out as APD/MD at AAA KTCZ (Cities 97.1)/Minneapolis. Fletcher joined KTCZ in 2012
Karla Cantrell exits as PD -PM Driver at KTGX (1016.1 The Twister)/Tulsa. She joined in 2016
Jeffrey “JR” Ramsey leaves APD/PM Driver at KDHT (Hits 95.7)/Denver. He had been with the station since 2021.
