The 2024 Sugar Bowl Country Kickoff concert has been canceled. It was abruptly canceled, and ticketholders received a notice saying, “Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event.” According to WVUE TV/New Orleans, refunds should be expected in 14-21 days.
The show was set to feature Eric Church, Thomas Rhett, Jon Pardi, and Ashley McBryde. In 2023, it included Garth Brooks and Lainey Wilson.

The show was announced in April and had been scheduled for August 31 at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome.
