Additionally, Bill Clark will make a weekly appearance on 3 Man Front, the station’s midday show, each Monday at 1 PM.

Clark said his familiarity with the 3 Man Front crew — Pat Smith and Landrum Roberts — made the decision an easy one to partner with WJOX 94.5.

“I’m excited. We’ve known you guys forever. Our interactions have always been so good and so spot on. Coming from a coach’s perspective, I think opportunity to talk about behind the scenes, if you will, coach’s playbook type stuff and talk to coaches that I know talk to people in the industry, right now we’re set to go August to January, so I’m really excited,” Clark said as the agreement was announced on the station. “It’s kind of got the juices flowing again.”

The 56-year-old Clark coached UAB for six seasons, rejoining the program after it went dormant during the 2015 and 2016 seasons. He compiled a 49-26 record leading the Blazers, including bowl game trips in his final five seasons. He resigned before the 2022 season citing health issues. He underwent successful spinal fusion surgery after his resignation.
