With the “Andie Summers Morning Show” expanding to Beasley’s WKLB (Country 102.5)/Boston and KCYE (107.9 Coyote Country)/Las Vegas (BMM 8/22), WKLB’s “Country Mornings” team, Jonathan Wier, Ayla Brown, and Jim Clerkin has left the station.
Brown posted on her Facebook page, Thank you, everyone, for a wonderful ride!
“If you missed the news (it ended up in the Boston Herald before any of us could even deliver the news ourselves), Jonathan, Jim, and myself were let go from Country 102.5 on Thursday.”

Well you just lost another listener. You expect Boston to listen to a Philadelphia show. Get a clue! I do not like the change and I’m extremely disappointed. Ive been a faithful 102.5 listener for YEARS! Not anymore! Ayla, Johnathan and Jim were amazing! You have seriously made a Big mistake with BOSTON fans!
Feel the same. I live in Boston not Philly. Loved Ayla, Jim and Jonathan. So sad they are not part of my morning routine. Have already started channel searching 😔
Many thanks to Ayla, Johnathan and Jim. Class act every day, you will be missed. To 102.5 management u should have laid yourselves off. Why release the talent? I have changed all of my Echo Dots to Sirius and the Highway. Have zero interest in listening to PA in the morning.
Been listening since the station began way back as Boston’s “country club” looks like going to the Bull for now.
If the morning show comes back so will my family
Oh my gosh, after wondering where they were for a couple mornings (and not enjoying what was airing instead during my very long commute) I googled what was up. What in the actual heck. I had such high hopes when you brought Jonathan back. The chemistry of Jonathan, Ayla and Jim is epic. Their show was fire. I hate everything about Philly (I used to live there) and you just gave me 1 more reason. Huge mistake on your part not to mention scummy. You laid off Jonathan right after Ayla returned from maternity with baby 1, rehired him (perhaps after finding out about baby 2?) Then fired him AGAIN after she returned a 2nd time from maternity. You used him! And got rid of the only amazing local country broadcast we had. Done with you. Absolutely crushed.
I’m definitely out… not listening to that station anymore. I loved my morning show with Jonathan Alya and Jim. So sad for this station to do that. Let me know when you bring back that trio. Philly show in Boston? What we’re you all thinking of

Are you kidding me – I know thngs change but seriously – why do we have to listen to something from Philly – while Jeff is great don’t get me wrong, I think its a disgrace that you didn’t have the courtesy and show the respect that these great people deserved, BEFORE it hit the newspapers, talk about embarrassing your employees or as you people think ex-employees – well I know ALOT of people that WILL NOT be listening to this station anymore – Thanks Ayla, Jonathan and Jim for the memeories, laughter but most of all the love – I wish you all the best – You will always be Boston Strong – ps. let us know Ayla when the koozies are ready!!
I’ve been listening to the morning show for YEARS! I was so happy when you brought Jonathan back with Ayla. And Jim is just a riot! Loved when Danielle filled in for Ayla during her maternity leave. I had no idea what happened last week and thought maybe it was just because of the long weekend. To my dismay Jonathan, Ayla and Jim are GONE?! I have officially deleted 102.5. The morning show now is terrible. Very sad. They are who made my mornings tolerable with my morning commute. You lost a listener 🙁
School is back in session as is my morning routine of turning on Ayla, Jonathan and Jim…. I am incredibly disappointed by the news that the media company swapped in a PHILADELPHIA show on a Boston station. I will not be a morning listener now and may consider not listening to the station at all.
Tried so hard to listen to the new show this morning was so disappointed and who cares about Philly? This is Boston. I’m shocked and saddened that they were taking a Philly show, especially since their rival country station uses another venue as well. SiriusXM going forward
The new show is terrible. The voices alone are not pleasant to hear early in the morning. Boston fans don’t care for Philly broadcasting. My kids and I listened every morning on the way to school. This made commutes entertaining.. this is a loss for sure. Will definitely not be listening to the new station.

What a colossal mistake !!!! I was wondering where the crew has been and who this be voice was (a rather annoying one at that- no offense, just really kind of squeaky). Wow just wow . The end of Country 102.5 as we know it. Sure hope Jon Ayla and Jim go off on their own

I had to Google what happened to The Morning Show with Jonathan, Ayla and Jim. I had been on vacation, and when I came back, I was missing those familiar voices that I loved listening to every morning on my commute. I was absolutely shocked to learn that they were let go and replaced with a Philly crew. Seriously? What a poor decision and looking at all these comments it looks like I’m not alone and how I feel. I think you’ll see what a big mistake you made, but it will be too late because the Dream Team will have moved on to bigger and better things. Looks like I’ll be moving on as well to finding a new station which will never be as great as listening to Ayla, Jonathan and Jim in the morning but I’ll cherish the memories. Best of luck to them! I hope wherever they go, they will be treated a lot better than they were by your station and management.
I am very disappointed and upset that Ayla ,Jonathan and Jim are no longer on 102.5. I listen every morning. I don’t want to listen to a station from Philly. This is a big mistake . You are going to loose a lot of listeners. We live in Boston area not Philly . You need to bring than back !!
So sad I missed when Johnathon was gone was excited when he came back. But I hate the new morning show and I guess I’ll be moving to 98.1 so sad thank u Alaya Johnathan and Jim. I loved my commute with u all
I’m done listening too and I was a huge fan. Whatever the rationale was it can’t be justified. Clearly they don’t care about their loyal listeners.
