Jesse Garon has been named morning host at Audacy Classic Hits WOLX/Baraboo Madison, WI. He succeeds Jim McGaw who passed away in May.
Jonathan Suttin Audacy Madison OM said, “We’re thrilled to have Jesse’s bright personality getting people up and ready for the day. He is the perfect person to follow in Jim’s footsteps and carry the torch for the future of mornings on WOLX.”
Garon added, “Jim was a close friend of mine, and I hope to be a friend to our great audience just like Jim was for so many years. WOLX has been my favorite radio station for years, and, as a child of the 80s & 90s, a lot of the music we play connects with me on a personal level. I’m excited to get the day started for so many people.
Garon has been with 94.9 WOLX since 2015, previously serving as evening host.
