We can’t wait for our audience to join us for another wonderful season.”

Hometown with Rachel Nichols debuted last year and returns to Monumental Sports Network for season two, featuring the award-winning journalist and sportscaster getting to know sports and entertainment stars native to her hometown of Washington, D.C. In episode one, Rachel meets up with four-time Olympic medalist, icon and gymnastics trailblazer, Dominique Dawes. Other season two episodes will feature Washington Capitals captain and forward Alex Ovechkin, Washington Wizards guard Jordan Poole, Wizards head coach Brian Keefe, Capitals forwards Hendrix Lapierre and Connor McMichael, Wizards guard Malcolm Brogdon, local football legend Vernon Davis, actors and DC natives Ben Feldman and Jonathan Banks, and former Capitals goalie Olie Kölzig. The season two premiere will air tonight at 6:30 PM ET.

On alternating Mondays at 5:00 PM ET, Monumental magazine style shows Caps Red Line and Beyond the Buzzer will continue to provide fans with a glimpse into all the best behind-the-scenes moments of the Capitals and Wizards seasons. John Walton and Tarik El-Bashir will also bring back Caps Rink Report, reporting on the latest storylines during the Capitals 50th anniversary season.

Additionally, Monumental Sports Network announced veteran CNN and Washington Post political reporter Chris Cillizza will host Politics Aside with Chris Cillizza, a brand-new program that will delve into the intersection of sports and our nation’s most influential political figures.

Monumental Sports Network’s original programming and live games are available to local fans both on linear tv and via streaming platforms within the network’s coverage area, stretching from Richmond to Delaware.
