Newsmax has announced it has agreed to a multi-year extension with James Rosen to remain the network’s Chief White House Correspondent.
Rosen joined the network in January 2022 after previously working at outlets like Fox News and Sinclair Broadcast Group, as well as working at CBS Evening News under Dan Rather.
“I am grateful to Chris Ruddy and the entire Newsmax team for this opportunity to remain with the most vibrant growing news outlet in America,” Rosen said. “Our viewers know they can count on me to give them the news, in all its complexity and drama, in a manner that is fair and objective, often with a little dry humor—and while the cast of official Washington is about to change dramatically, my approach will not.”
“We are delighted to announce that James Rosen will cover the second Trump presidency for Newsmax,” added Newsmax CEO Christopher Ruddy said. “James’s reporting over the last three years has raised the standard for White House coverage, and his talent and hard-driving work ethic form a perfect match for Newsmax, a company that has grown significantly over that span and which will expand still further in the years to come.”
During his career, James Rosen has filed reports from all 50 states, in addition to the White House, the State Department, Capitol Hill, the Supreme Court, the Pentagon, and the campaign trail.
