Local Media San Diego will maintain operations of its three Mexican-licensed radio stations in the San Diego area: Top 40 “Z90.3” XHITZ-FM, Alternative “91X” 91.1 XETRA-FM, and Rhythmic AC “Magic 92.5” XHRM-FM.

LMSD acquired the former KFMB-FM and its sister station, 760 KFMB, in December 2019 for $5 million.

Following the acquisition, LMSD sold the AM station to iHeartMedia for $1.2 million and launched the “Big-FM” brand after the transaction closed in April 2020.
