The NFL and iHeartMedia have agreed to an extension of their exclusive partnership for the NFL Podcast Network. The audio entity, which first launched in 2021, presents distinctive offerings that provide football fans a variety of options to stay engaged with the league and their favorite teams. As part of this deal, new original podcasts and NFL Club shows are slated to debut each year while existing projects will remain available. Moreover, iHeartMedia will identify other podcasts that could join the NFL Podcast Network during the deal to further augment the reach and scale of this partnership.

“The NFL Podcast Network continues to grow and capture new audiences, and we’re thrilled to strengthen the successful partnership between iHeart and the NFL with new shows and the addition of more team podcasts,” Will Pearson, president of iHeartPodcasts, said in a statement. “Our new extended deal is guaranteed to bring fans closer to the game, players and teams they love, and keep listeners up to date on the insider information they want to hear.”

Concurrent with this new contract, the entities announced that Bobby Jones and Matt Cassel will co-host a new show this year, titled Lots to Say, in which they will discuss football, music, current events and personal lives. The show will be based in Nashville and include celebrity guests, such as Tim McGraw, Jared Allen, Parker McCollum and Boomer Esiason. Several other podcasts, including NFL Daily with Gregg Rosenthal, Off the Edge with Cam Jordan and The Season with Peter Schrager will continue to be available for consumers. Shows on the NFL Podcast Network are distributed by iHeartPodcasts, and they are available on the iHeartRadio application and wherever podcasts are heard.

“We are incredibly excited to continue our partnership with iHeartMedia,” Brent Lawton, vice president of business development and strategic investments for the National Football League, said in a statement. “Since its launch in 2021, the NFL Podcast Network has delivered NFL fans best-in-class storytelling and podcast content, and we look forward to developing new podcasts and more content with iHeart.”
