Big Ten Network’s CFP National Championship Coverage Heads to Atlanta; Features Urban Meyer, Jake Butt, and More

Dave Revsine and Howard Griffith will join their colleagues at Mercedez-Benz Stadium, while the team of Rick Pizzo, Gerry DiNardo, Mike Hall, Kylen Mills, Anthony Herron, and Yogi Roth will provide analysis from the BTN studio in Chicago.

Big Ten Network is going all out for this year’s College Football Playoff National Championship game by bringing former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer and former Michigan tight end Jake Butt to Atlanta to cover the event on-site. Dave Revsine and Howard Griffith will join their colleagues at Mercedez-Benz Stadium, while the team of Rick Pizzo, Gerry DiNardo, Mike Hall, Kylen Mills, Anthony Herron, and Yogi Roth will provide analysis from the BTN studio in Chicago.

Each weekday at noon ET, a new episode of B1G Today will preview the championship game and break down the key storylines leading into the game. At night, a new edition of The B1G Show will air.

As gameday approaches, Big Ten Network’s coverage will ramp up, featuring extended editions of B1G Live and The B1G Show. The shows will cover Ohio State’s media day and the joint coaches’ press conferences, while also providing additional analysis.

On gameday, Jan. 20, coverage will begin at noon ET with a two-hour edition of B1G Today, hosted by Mills and Herron with on-site analysis from Revsine, Griffith, Butt, and Meyer. Before the game, Pizzo, DiNardo, and Roth host a one-hour episode of B1G Live: National Championship Pregame at 6:30 p.m. ET, with Revsine, Griffith, Butt, and Meyer joining from Atlanta. Following the game, the group returns with B1G Live: National Championship Postgame at approximately 11 p.m. ET, and a further breakdown of the championship round at midnight ET during a 90-minute edition of The B1G Show.

If Ohio State wins, the network will cover the team’s victory press conference on Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 9 a.m. ET, with another special edition of B1G Today hosted by Hall and Herron airing at noon ET.
