Former KS95 KSTP, St. Paul Minneapolis OM/PD Leighton Peck, has passed away. Peck, who was 65, died on January 30.
Peck, who started as a KS95 part-timer in 1991, served 19 years as PD and OM for the Hubbard cluster. He retired in May 2020.
His career started in St. Cloud, Minnesota, and included a stop in Mason City, Iowa, before coming to KDWB, Minneapolis, in 1988.
A celebration of life with an informal gathering will be held from 2 to 4 February 22 at Roberts Family Funeral Home in Forest Lake, MN.
Peck is survived by his wife of 39 years, Melinda; children, Elliot and Neena; brother, Sheldon; mother-in-law, Florence Berndt.
