Additional contributions and analysis will be provided by Geraldo Rivera, former Australian intelligence officer Geoff Cruickshank, Pentagon Papers attorney Daniel Sheehan, and JFK files expert Jefferson Morley.

Weekend specials have proven to be ratings winners for NewsNation. In previous months, specials centered on the latest book written by Bill O’Reilly and UFO sightings have actually led the network to beat MSNBC in the weekend ratings.

The National Archives released the files on Tuesday, joining other records that have been posted in 2023, 2022, 2021, and in 2017 and 2018. In total, more than 32,000 pages were released in the latest unveiling, which consisted of 1,059 official records.

Many of the files and documents released were not new. However, some of the previously redacted information was unredacted, including names, addresses, and even in some cases Social Security numbers.
