Coast to Coast AM to Add Ryan Wrecker as Fill-In Host

Date:

950 WWJ anchor Ryan Wrecker is joining Coast to Coast AM as a fill-in host next month.

“I’ve been asked to join Coast to Coast AM. Starting next month, I’ll be occasionally hosting shows on the network,” wrote Recker. “My first dates are the nights of May 23rd and 24th. As of now, I’ll probably be hosting two shows a month, but will be put in a rotation of hosts.”

He later added “This is one of the biggest radio programs in the country, and it’s such an honor to be asked to join.”

Wrecker has served as a fill-in host on a variety of stations in recent years, including 620 WTMJ in Milwaukee, KCMO Talk Radio in Kansas City, and 1210 WPHT in Philadelphia, among others.

Ryan Wrecker joined 950 WWJ after previously working as a host at KMOX in St. Louis. Before joining the Audacy news/talk and all-news brands, Wrecker worked as the Program Director of 1190 WOWO in Fort Wayne.

It isn’t the first time Wrecker has worked in the overnight daypart. During his tenure at KMOX, he hosted Overnight America.

Wrecker will continue in his role at 950 WWJ in Detroit, in addition to filling in for Coast to Coast AM and its regular host, George Noory.
