CBS Sunday Morning scored an exclusive interview with former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick this past weekend to discuss his new role at the University of North Carolina, as well as his new book entitled “The Art Of Winning.” Following the airing of the interview on the network, the headlines surrounding the exclusive centered on an encounter involving a line of questioning about Belichick’s relationship with 24-year-old Jordon Hudson.
When CBS asked Belichick about how the two met, Hudson interrupted the interview to state that the topic would not be discussed. Notably, the two have been together for over two years and haven’t been shy about their relationship, appearing at events and on social media together. Subsequently, Fred Toucher on 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston discussed how Hudson mishandled the line of questioning, turning what could have been a straightforward moment into a viral controversy.
“That moron woman of his just lit the whole thing a flame,” Toucher exclaimed. “Her whole thing has been putting you (Belichick) on social media. You two together, dating. It’s asinine that they wouldn’t ask about that. It’s completely insane. You’re there!”
Moreover, earlier on Tuesday morning, TMZ reported that during the interview, Hudson stormed out of the filming location, delaying the shoot by up to a half hour. The online outlet also reported that Hudson interrupted the interview several times to correct Belichick’s answers.
As a result, Toucher questioned why Hudson would be present at all if she was uncomfortable with certain topics being addressed.
“If you don’t want him to talk about it, how about not being there,” said Toucher. “To be there and insert yourself into the interview and now finding out that you’re walking him out of the interview to CBS. You have no idea what the hell you’re doing. What’s your experience in this? Banging an old guy? How the hell are you ever orchestrating this interview?”
Additionally, during the interview aired on Sunday, it was revealed that Belichick considers Hudson his “creative muse,” according to a passage in his book. It was also noted that Hudson was a constant presence during the interview with Belichick and CBS Mornings co-host Tony Dokoupil.
“I mean, he’s out of his f’n mind, and she’s an idiot,” said Toucher. “You know why she didn’t want to talk about how they met, because it’s stupid and wrong.”
Since the airing of the interview, Hudson has been very active on social media, publicly defending their relationship.
