Bill Gamble has exited his position as VP of Content for Mid-West Family Broadcasting in South Bend, IN. Gamble had been with the cluster for 15 years, starting as Director of Programming content when the group was owned by Schurz Broadcasting in 2010.

Writing on Facebook, Gamble said,  “News that is all too common, and not limited to radio…. My position as VP of Content for Mid-West Family South Bend has been eliminated. I’ve been with Mid-West Family since they purchased the stations in 2016. I want to thank them for the many opportunities they’ve given me, from VP programming to General Manager for the cluster. I’ve had the chance to work with some very talented, great people. I’m proud of the team we’ve assembled, and I know that they’ll continue to thrive and succeed for Mid-West Family. And just to cut off any rumors before they start: I’m not retiring. Anyone who knows me knows I have just about zero hobbies. I intend to keep working because I love what I do (and I’m great at it).”
