850 WFTL has added a new FM simulcast that will see the station become the first news/talk outlet on an FM signal in the West Palm Beach market.
850 WFTL will now be heard on 96.3, replacing the Hot AC station Party 96.3 in the market. That format was adopted in July 2019 and featured no longer personalities or programming.
850 WFTL has a local morning show from 6-9 AM, featuring Stephen Deiner and Jennifer Ross. It also has a local afternoon show hosted by Joyce Kaufman. The Hubbard Radio news/talk station also has nationally syndicated programs hosted by Brian Kilmeade, Erick Erickson, Guy Benson, Will Cain, Joe Pags, and Lars Larson in its daily schedule.
The 96.3 FM signal is an FM translator, meaning it only has 201 watts of power. It covers the majority of the northern portion of the West Palm Beach market, and West Palm Beach proper.
The market is also served by iHeartMedia’s WJNO, which is heard on 1290 AM.
