Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio, Inc. (MIW) has opened the application window for its MIW Elevating Women in Programming Mentorship. The mentee selected will have a year-long experience that will include sessions with the industry’s most accomplished programming minds.
MIW Board President Sheila Kirby said, “The MIW Elevating Women in Programming Mentorship program is a cornerstone of our mission to empower women in radio. This initiative not only fosters personal and professional growth but also builds a stronger and more inclusive future for the industry. We’re excited to welcome another talented mentee into this life-changing program.”
Previous MIW mentees include: Traci LaTrelle, APD/MD, WHUR/Washington, DC; Leslie Scott, former Audacy VP of Digital Audio Content; Grisel Barajas, Amanda “ICE” Habrowski, APD/middays, 93.1 The Mountain Las Vegas; Meg Dowdy, Regional Content Director, Townsquare Media, and Kiran Riar of Flinn Broadcasting Memphis.
This mentorship opportunity is now available for one female professional in the roles of Brand Manager, Content/Program Director, Assistant Program Director, or Music Director from any U.S.-based format.
