Gray Media and the New Orleans Saints have agreed to a five-year extension under which the company will be broadcasting preseason matchups across its 15-station network, including on local WVUE Fox 8. Network affiliates span throughout the state of Louisiana and other locales in the region, and the games will be rebroadcast on Gulf Coast Sports and Entertainment Network occurring on the following day.
“We’re thrilled to extend our important partnership with the New Orleans Saints and continue providing Saints fans with unmatched, exclusive coverage,” Sandy Breland, chief operating officer of Gray Media, said in a statement. “Gray and WVUE FOX 8 are also excited to work with the Saints in bringing more Saints programming to both FOX 8 and the Gulf Coast Sports & Entertainment Network, and we know viewers will be too.”
Saints programming will be airing on the network as well co-produced by the team and WVUE, some of which includes The Draft Show LIVE, Daily Training Camp Show and pregame and postgame programming amid the season. Other Saints shows produced by WVUE will consist of Final Play, Black & Gold Review and Game Plan among others.
Gray Media is also going to be premiering an NFL Films documentary, titled Waiting on Moore, that will grant a behind-the-scenes look at the team and new head coach Kellen More taking place on Sunday, June 8 and Monday, June 9 at 7 p.m. CST.
