According to SavingCountryMusic.com, Jeff Hoag is out at 650 WSM in Nashville. Hoag hosted “WSM At Night” and the Grand Ole Opry warmup show.

Hoag moved from weekends to evenings in 2020 when the legendary Eddie Stubbs retired after 25 years. The station has not issued an official comment, except for a brief statement responding to a fan on social media.

WSM is the longtime home to the Grand Ole Opry, for which Hoag also served as one of the Opry’s announcers.

Hoag is a former full-time touring musician who played guitar and mandolin. He is a songwriter who is known for his deep knowledge of Country music and is an avid record collector.
