The segment will air during Landecker’s program on Thursday from 8 to 9 PM. It will be labeled as For Radio Geeks Only.

“We played the hits and had more fun than humans should be allowed to have,” said Sirott. “Besides the music, there were encounters with stars, personal appearances with fans and endless stories to go with it all.”

The two say they plan to talk about some of the legendary moments they’ve been a part of, as well as behind-the-scenes stories from their tenures working in music radio in the 1970s, among other topics.

Bob Sirott currently hosts mornings from 6-10 AM on WGN Radio. Meanwhile, John Landecker hosts from 7-10 PM on Monday through Thursday evenings for the Chicago news/talk station.
