KNSS morning show hosts Steve McIntosh and Ted Woodward have reason to celebrate. The duo will hit their 7,000th show together later this month.
On Tuesday, August 26th, the Audacy Wichita duo will host their 7,000th show together, marking a run that dates back to 1998.
“It’s been a professional and personal pleasure to work with Ted for nearly 28 years,” McIntosh said. “Thank you to all our loyal listeners and advertisers.”
The two KNSS news/talk hosts won’t have many more shows together to grow that number. Steve McIntosh is set to retire at the end of the year, concluding a nearly six-decade run in radio.
“The road to our 7,000th show has been a long journey for me, nearly half my lifetime,” said Woodward. “What a cherished gift, as listeners have invited us into their homes, cars, phones, computers, devices, and AI microchip implants (maybe?) for 27+ years. It’s been our honor, and we’re truly blessed!”
Since being partnered 27 years ago, Steve McIntosh and Ted Woodward have combined to win a regional Edward R. Murrow Award and an NAB Marconi Radio Award.
