Another long-time personality is stepping down. After 30 years, Nate West is leaving Country US 96.3 WUSJ Jackson, MS.
West has been hosting mornings with Traci Lee and Hannah Lane.
On the station’s Facebook page, it wrote in part, “After 30 incredible years with our very own Nate West, He has decided to go on to a new career path. We will truly miss one of the greatest voices, storytellers, and friends we’ve ever had on the airwaves. Nate has been more than just a morning show host; he’s been a part of all of our lives.”
Concluding, “Nate, thank you for the memories, the laughter, and the love you’ve poured into this show. Radio won’t be the same without you, but your impact will last far beyond the final sign-off. You’ll always be family, and we’ll miss you more than words can say. We are so happy for you and your new adventure. We wish you the best in everything you will do.”
West has been with the station since 2020. No plans were announced regarding the future of the morning show.
