FOX Sports Invests With Shadow Lion, Tom Brady’s Founded Creative Agency and IP Studio

FOX Sports has entered into a strategic investment with Shadow Lion. The creative studio co-founded by Tom Brady. A move designed to expand the network’s reach in original programming, digital storytelling, and live event production.

The investment, announced Wednesday, brings together FOX Sports’ expansive production infrastructure and Shadow Lion’s reputation for talent-led storytelling. The two sides plan to develop a slate of new sports and lifestyle content that aims to push creative boundaries and strengthen FOX’s presence in premium longform and digital formats.

Fusing their talent-forward platform with our capabilities will enable us to nurture the next generation of sports storytelling and set the bar for excellence.”

Boston-based Shadow Lion, which will open a Los Angeles hub on the FOX lot, has earned praise for its blend of advertising and entertainment work. Creating branded campaigns and original programming that connect athletes, creators, and audiences.

The partnership is already in motion. Among the first projects is a docuseries on the University of Michigan football program. Brady and head coach Jim Harbaugh are serving as executive producers and Shadow Lion leading production services. The series is being positioned as a definitive look at the Wolverines’ history and impact, blending nostalgia and modern-day storytelling.

Shadow Lion Co-Founder Gilad Haas said the collaboration aims to create projects that capture the emotion of sports. In ways that resonate beyond the field.

Brady, who transitioned from an iconic 23-year NFL career into a growing media portfolio, said the partnership builds on his passion for storytelling and connection.

“Our team at Shadow Lion and FOX Sports share an extraordinary love for sports, storytelling, and the fan experience,” Brady said. “We’re starting with Michigan because it shaped me and it will shape the direction of this partnership. Fan-first, done right, every single time. That’s the vision.”

In addition to the Michigan docuseries. Shadow Lion is also producing the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, a celebrity event at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, alongside OBB Media and Fanatics. FOX and Shadow Lion said several more projects are already in development and will be announced later this year.
