On Sunday, Morgan revealed that he had broken his femur following a fall at a London hotel restaurant.

In a post on social media, the former CNN host shared that he had tripped on a small step, leading to his fall.

“Fractured femur,” the 60-year-old Morgan wrote. “So badly I needed a new hip. Recovering in the hospital. Crutches for 6 (weeks). No long-haul for 12 (weeks).”

He jokingly added that the New Year was “off to a cracking start” and that he “blamed Donald Trump” for the accident.

Morgan later clarified that there was “zero alcohol involved” in the incident.

When the British tabloid Metro reported that Morgan has a roughly $25,000 man cave at his London home, Morgan said he wouldn’t be recovering there, but it could be a temporary location for his program.

“I might be able to host (Piers Morgan Uncensored) from there for a bit,” Morgan said. “Working on that now.”
