NewsNation Sets State of the Union Coverage Plans

Beginning at 9 PM ET, Leland Vittert will anchor a three-hour broadcast called Special Report: State of the Union.

The State of the Union Address by President Donald Trump is in the works, and NewsNation has announced its coverage plans.

On Tuesday, February 24th, President Donald Trump will deliver the annual address to Congress.

Throughout that date, NewsNation will present special editions of The Hill at 6 PM ET, Elizabeth Vargas Reports at 7 PM ET, and Cuomo at 8 PM ET.

Beginning at 9 PM ET, Leland Vittert will anchor a three-hour broadcast called Special Report: State of the Union. Following the conclusion of President Trump’s speech, the network will welcome analysis from political editor Chris Stirewalt, primetime hosts Katie Pavlich and Jesse Weber, in addition to other contributions from correspondents Kellie Meyer and Joe Khalil.

Additionally, on Monday, February 23rd, and Tuesday, February 24th, Connell McShane will helm NewsNation Live from Washington, D.C. at the White House and on Capitol Hill.

Blake Burman will anchor a live digital broadcast of the State of the Union from 8-11:30 PM ET for The Hill. The Hill’s White House correspondent Julia Manchester and senior reporter Alexander Bolton will provide additional reporting. Meanwhile, Stirewalt, McShame, contributor Sean Spicer, and Rising‘s Robby Soave and Lindsey Granger will also appear on the digital broadcast.
