HOT 106.5 has named Shawn Knight as its new Assistant Director of Branding & Programming at the Cox Media Group Jacksonville urban station.
Knight has more than 30 years of experience in the radio business. He has prior experience as an Assistant Program Director at Kiss 107.3 in Tyler, Texas, K92.7 in Columbus, Georgia, and SOUL 106.3 in Chicago.
“I am truly humbled by this opportunity to expand my expertise in programming for Cox Media Group and the city of Jacksonville,” said Knight. “For the past year, I have considered Duval County home, and I am looking forward to further serving my community. He’ll continue to serve as afternoon drive host on HOT 106.5, as well as middays on Power 106.1.
