Chris Palmer Named Triple Tigers VP of National Promotion

"He brings the experience and creative juices, but most of all, the passion and fun we all love about this job."

Date:

Triple Tigers Records/AKANDO Music has a new VP of National Promotion. Chris Palmer, a 28-year promotion veteran, steps into the role effective July 27th.

What We Know: Palmer fills the seat vacated by Raffaella Braun, who recently moved up to Co-President of the label. He brings an impressive track record — 56 #1 records across a career that began in 1998. Previously, he held VP roles at The Valory Music Company, Warner Music Nashville, and Lyric Street Records. In his new position, he will oversee radio promotion for both Triple Tigers and AKANDO Music.

What They Said: Braun wasted no time making her enthusiasm clear. “Having Chris Palmer part of this ambush of tigers is so exciting,” she said. “He brings the experience and creative juices, but most of all, the passion and fun we all love about this job.” Palmer, meanwhile, is equally energized. “I can’t wait to join an already incredible team, many of whom I’ve already worked with, that are firing on all cylinders with arguably Nashville’s hottest artist roster.”

What Remains Unclear: The specific artists or upcoming campaigns Palmer will prioritize first haven’t been revealed. Additionally, how his arrival reshapes the broader promotion team’s structure is still to be determined.

What It Means: Triple Tigers continues to invest aggressively in its promotion infrastructure. Landing a veteran with Palmer’s track record signals confidence — and real momentum — behind its growing artist roster. Nashville is watching.
