Family Life recently closed on “Pickle 92.1” WKPL Ellwood City, also purchased from Forever Media. “Froggy” WOGI operates with a country format targeting the greater Pittsburgh area. Forever Media retains the station’s simulcaster 94.9 WOGG Oliver and other regional properties including “99.3 The Pickle” WPKL Uniontown.
What’s at Stake. Pittsburgh’s country radio landscape now shifts with this transaction. WOGI joins two other country competitors in market—iHeartMedia’s “Big 104.7” WPGB-FM and Audacy’s “Y108” WDSY.
