Salem Media will release a new documentary featuring one of the final interviews with Charlie Kirk before his assassination. Can You Hear Me Now? will premiere September 10, marking one year since Kirk was killed.
What We Know: Salem Media’s streaming platform, SalemNOW, will exclusively premiere Can You Hear Me Now? on September 10, 2026. The documentary examines whether God still speaks through prophets today. The film combines biblical scholarship, historical context, political analysis, and scientific inquiry. Meanwhile, the documentary will expand to additional platforms beginning October 10.
What They Said: “At SalemNOW, we’re committed to bringing our audience thought-provoking films that address today’s most important faith and cultural conversations. Can You Hear Me Now? is a compelling documentary that encourages viewers to examine Scripture, think critically, and engage one of the most important spiritual questions of our time.” -SalemNOW GM Rob Ellis
What Remains Unclear: Salem Media hasn’t detailed which additional platforms will carry the documentary after its SalemNOW premiere. The company also hasn’t announced how widely the film will be distributed or whether it will receive a theatrical release. However, the inclusion of Kirk’s interview gives the project an added level of interest for his supporters and conservative audiences.
What It Means: Kirk’s interview could become the documentary’s most closely watched segment as SalemNOW releases the film on the anniversary of his death. In the interview, Kirk discusses biblical prophecy and spiritual discernment, emphasizing the importance of testing prophecy against Scripture. As a result, the documentary offers viewers one of the final opportunities to hear Kirk discuss his faith and views on prophecy before his death.
