Dan Diorio has exited 1470 & 100.3 WMBD after more than four decades with the Peoria news/talk station. His departure ends a 21-year morning partnership with Greg Batton.
What We Know: Diorio joined WMBD more than 40 years ago and spent the past 21 years alongside Batton in morning drive. The station’s website previously identified Diorio as a radio veteran with more than 40 years in the industry and more than 35 years at WMBD. Diorio and Batton had hosted The Greg & Dan Show since 2005. Meanwhile, morning news anchor Julia Bradley has also departed the Midwest Communications-owned Peoria station. Batton remains in morning drive following Diorio’s exit.
What’s At Stake: Diorio’s departure changes the long-running morning lineup at one of Peoria’s established news/talk stations. Additionally, Bradley’s exit leaves the station without one of its familiar morning news voices. The changes could affect the structure and sound of WMBD’s morning programming as the station moves forward.
What Remains Unclear: WMBD hasn’t indicated whether it plans to add another co-host alongside Batton. The station also hasn’t publicly detailed the circumstances surrounding either departure. Additionally, Diorio and Bradley haven’t publicly addressed their exits.

Been listening to WMBD for 40 years Greg and Dan show is the big part of my morning life. Please bring it back and Julia Bradley too. She is so funny she makes me laugh. She’s a happy person. What is wrong with your station? why would you get rid of those two people very informative both of them very smart people And Greg batten too love all of them so helpful to the Peoria area. If you don’t have the Greg And Dan show you don’t have WMBD that’s about all you’ve got please please please bring them back. Love the Greg And Dan show.
