KS95 has its new afternoon drive team. Gabe Glidden and Angie Morales will take over the Twin Cities slot on December 28.
What We Know: Hubbard VP/Brand and Content Chris Eagan announced the hire Tuesday. The duo most recently hosted the top rated Gabe & Angie Morning Show on BIG 98.7 in Fargo-Moorhead. Glidden, a Crystal, Minnesota native, has hosted morning and afternoon drive in Winona, Cedar Falls/Waterloo and Fargo. Meanwhile, Morales worked as a host and content creator in Las Vegas, Boise, Seattle and Fargo. The duo fill void created by the exit of Staci Matthews and Greg ‘Hutch’ Hutchinson in June.

What Remains Unclear: It’s unclear if the radio brand will begin to introduce the new program to the audience in any shape prior to their launch date in December.
What It Means: Ultimately, KS95 is betting on proven ratings and genuine local roots. After all, Glidden grew up in Crystal, which gives the show an instant hometown connection. The hire also extends an afternoon tradition dating back to Moon & Staci’s 2002 debut. Moreover, as Executive VP/General Manager Dave Bestler noted, KS95 listeners expect fun and community connections in that daypart.
