Perhaps you have noticed a posting for a program director in Raleigh on the BSM Job Board. The job is open because current Capitol Broadcasting Brand and Content Manager Sammy Simpson has announced he is leaving the cluster.
Simpson oversees Hot AC Mix 101.5 and Triple A 95.7 That Station in addition to The Fan.
“The news is now out that I am going to be transitioning out of the Brand/Content Manager role at Capitol Broadcasting,” he said in a post on his Facebook page. “The company has started the search for a new Sports Program Director and I would encourage you to apply or help spread the word if interested in a truly great opportunity.”
Sammy Simpson came from the marketing world. His career includes previous stops at Z100 in New York, the New York Daily News, Bonneville Communications, and 100.3 The Sound in Los Angeles. He joined Capitol in the summer of 2020.
