Las Vegas host Steve Sanchez is moving up in the KDWN lineup.
Beginning Monday, Sanchez will now be heard from 3:00-6:00 PM on the Audacy-owned station. The time slot is currently occupied by Westwood One’s Mark Levin.
“It is a thrill to be dominating my daypart in the format and I feel my audience growing exponentially right now,” said Sanchez. “It’s a pleasure serving the Las Vegas market with the legendary station KDWN as my flagship.”
The move comes months after KDWN was acquired in a station swap between Audacy and Beasley Media Group. In the trade, Audacy gave Alt 107.5 to Beasley in exchange for KDWN, which is the highest-rated talk station in the market. During the Holiday 2022 ratings period, KDWN garnered a 2.3 share in Persons 12+.
