With football season upon us, CBS Sports has announced a new NFL podcast, Pushing the Pile. The show will be hosted by former All Pro offensive lineman Kyle Long and longtime football analyst Mike Renner.
CBS Sports describes the shows as one where “it’s like hanging with your buddies and talking ball…if your buddies were 8-year NFL vets and analytics experts who helped develop player evaluation systems that every NFL team uses to this day.”
Long, a former first round draft pick of the Chicago Bears, posted on his X account, “We are so excited for you to come and hang out with us and get your days started the right way.” Long is the son of NFL Hall of Famer Howie Long and the brother of two-time Super Bowl champion Chris Long.
The show will officially start on August 19 and drop each Monday through Thursday at 9:30 a.m. ET.
