100.7 The Wolf Seattle’s “The Morning Wolfpack,” featuring Matt McAllister, Gabe Mercer, and ‘Captain’ Ron Koons, will take on afternoons at sister Country 107.9 KMLE Phoenix.
The new afternoon show “Matt, Gabe & Captain Ron” marks McAllister’s return to Phoenix. He previously hosted mornings at iHeartMedia Country 102.5 KNIX from 2008 to 2016. Before his time in Phoenix, McAllister spent ten years at Rock 99.9 in Santa Barbara, CA.
Mercer, well-known in the Phoenix market, worked with the Audacy cluster from 2018 before joining 100.7 The Wolf in 2022. Her experience includes roles in promotions and sales, hosting nights at KMLE, and tracking middays at the station.
Drew Bland, Regional Vice President for Country at Audacy, will transition to the 10 am – 12 pm timeslot while overseeing both KMLE and KKWF. The morning slot will continue to feature “Gunner & Cheyenne,” while Audacy’s syndicated program with Katie Neal will air from 12 PM to 3 PM. The evening slot will feature “Rob & Holly.”
