Rene Alegria has joined Nueva Network as Chief Innovation Officer.
Alegria was most recently President and CEO of MundoNow, where he significantly elevated the digital-first platform, leading it to achieve 36 Emmy Awards over four years, including one recognition for his exceptional leadership.
Under his direction, MundoNow also launched Oyenos Audio, an innovative Latino podcast network that transformed storytelling for bilingual and bicultural audiences throughout the United States.

His initiatives have celebrated the diverse experiences within the Latino community. Notably, his strategic contributions have garnered over 100 International Latino Book Awards and helped reshape the narrative surrounding Latinos as a vibrant, content-savvy demographic with substantial cultural and economic impact.
