NRG Media Wausau/Stevens Point, WI raised over $96,000 at its Packers Tailgate stop on April 11. The money raised goes to Patriot K9s of Wisconsin, which provides service dogs at no cost to veterans.
Patriot K9s Strategic Business Manager Susie Arnold said, “We were absolutely blown away by the sheer volume of resources and time the radio stations provided, which was instrumental in making this event such a huge success. We can’t thank NRG enough for your overwhelming support.”
Former Green Bay Packer players and Team President/CEO Mark Murphy were on hand for autographs and selfies.
Patriot K9 trains dogs that are provided to veterans suffering from PTSD or other challenges related to their service.
NRG Wausau/Stevens Point stations include 107.9 Wisconsin’s Big Cheese, 103.3 WGLX, Hot 96.7, and Y106.7.
