Rush Street Interactive has announced the expansion of its proprietary online poker platform, BetRivers Poker, into Delaware, Michigan and West Virginia. The launch represents a significant milestone for the online casino and sports betting company, which now operates a unified player network across four states.
Following its Pennsylvania debut last November, the multi-state expansion allows players to compete across state lines for the first time on the platform. This creates larger tournament prize pools, deeper cash-game fields and more consistent action throughout the network.
“The launch of a unified cross-state player pool significantly enhances the BetRivers Poker experience,” said Richard Schwartz, CEO of RSI. “By expanding the network, we’ll bring more players to our tables, offer a wider variety of games, and raise the stakes with larger tournament prize pools.”
The expansion strengthens RSI’s position in the competitive online poker market while providing players with enhanced gaming opportunities. Additionally, the company plans to launch BetRivers Poker in New Jersey later this year, further expanding its regional footprint.
The platform maintains its integration with Rivers Casinos in Pennsylvania, offering players both digital and in-person poker opportunities through live events and tournaments.
BetRivers Poker was developed with extensive input from the poker community, led by poker professional and industry innovator Phil Galfond. Galfond helped design the platform’s gameplay features and rewards structure to meet player expectations.
“As poker players, we built this platform for the players – all of them,” said Galfond. “From brand-new poker players to seasoned pros, we focused on fairness, fun, unique features, and meaningful player rewards.”
Recently, the platform added 17-time World Series of Poker champion Phil Hellmuth to its roster of brand ambassadors. Hellmuth brings his competitive insight and larger-than-life personality to amplify player engagement through media appearances, live events and digital content.
“I’ve won more bracelets than anyone in history because I know how poker players think and BetRivers delivers what they want: real competition, big moments, and a championship experience,” said Hellmuth.
The platform offers comprehensive game formats including cash games, Sit & Go tournaments and Multi-Table Tournaments. Notable features include dynamic avatars that react to gameplay with real-time expressions, Cub3d Sit & Go tournaments where players can win up to 1,500 times their buy-in, and an intuitive design based on community feedback.
BetRivers Poker continues expanding its digital presence through its long-running “Poker Night in America” televised show and the new PokerBratTV on YouTube. The content includes exclusive player interviews, live-streamed events and opportunities for fans to compete alongside poker legends.
The multi-state launch positions RSI to capitalize on the growing online poker market while providing players with enhanced competition and larger prize pools across its expanding network.
