Fox News Leads News Brands in YouTube Views During July

Fox News has invested heavily in its YouTube efforts, and those efforts have paid off as the company led all news brands on the digital video platform in July.

During the month of July, Fox News earned 332 million views on YouTube, according to Emplifi. That topped the next closest challenger, MSNBC, which featured 318 million views during the month.

CNN (209 million views) and NBC News (165 million views) also eclipsed more than 150 million views on YouTube in July.

ABC News saw 121 million views, while Fox Business Network saw 66 million views, and CBS News finished the month with 51 million.

In its digital efforts, Fox News saw 6.5 million unique visitors to its mobile app during the month. It also saw 92 million unique visitors between its mobile and desktop platforms during the month. That bested both CNN.com (91 million) and CBSNews.com (87 million), marking the first time the network has done so, according to Comscore.

On social media, Fox News saw a 134% increase in social interactions year-over-year, and also up 14% month-over-month. In total, the brand saw 98 million social interactions in July, including 71.8 million on Facebook, 21.1 million on Instagram, and 4.1 million on X, according to Emplifi. It also saw 20.8 million interactions on TikTok.
