The top three podcasts remained unchanged in the list, as NPR News Now, The Daily, and Up First from NPR took home top honors, respectively.

Meanwhile, Dateline NBC moved past Fox News Hourly Update in the rankings, as the two shows swapped positions for fourth and fifth.

The Shawn Ryan Show (6th), Pardon My Take (7th), Stuff You Should Know (9th), and 48 Hours (10th) rounded out the top 10 places.

While the podcast from Ben Shapiro vaulted into the top 10, it wasn’t the overall biggest mover in the top 20 rankings. Radiolab from WYNC Studios jumped 15 positions to finish the month in the final place of the top 20. Hidden Brain also jumped 10 positions to finish 19th overall.

As usual, iHeart Audience Network and iHeartPodcasts took home the top two spots on the Top U.S. Podcast Publishers & Networks rankings in August.

NPR Sales Network, Libsyn, and Acast took home the remaining positions inside the top five. Other top ten finishers included Disney, Vox Media, Fox Audio Network, PodcastOne, and Paramount, while The Daily Wire finished 11th.
