Jason Goff has a new podcast home. The Chicago sports voice is heading to 312 Sports following his departure from The Ringer earlier this year.
What We Know: Barrett Media has confirmed a Chicago Sun-Times report that Goff will launch a podcast on 312 Sports. A debut date remains TBA, but sources hope episodes begin next week. The move follows Goff’s exit from The Ringer, where his show The Full Go ran for over four years and topped 600 episodes. That run made him one of the platform’s key Chicago sports voices, covering the Bears, Bulls, White Sox, Cubs, and Blackhawks. Goff’s debut at 312 Sports reunites him with former 104.3 The Score talents Dan Bernstein and Matt Abbatacola. All three worked together on Boers & Bernstein for many years on The Score.
What They Said: Goff has not commented not the new podcast as of yet. However, he did give an update regarding his status on Tuesday (via X): “The last few months that I’ve been away from content creation I’ve been overseeing a couple real estate projects in Belize so I can retire soon here. Raising my babies. Grieving the loss of my OG. Going on my friend’s shows and pods when I get the itch. Turning down deals that would compromise my integrity and rocking out with the family. The most free time (4 months) I’ve had in 24 years in the biz.”
What Remains Unclear: 312 Sports hasn’t announced a firm launch date, and specifics on format, frequency, or branding haven’t surfaced yet. It’s also unclear whether any other talent will join Goff on the new platform.
What It Means: Goff’s move signals continued momentum for independent Chicago sports platforms pulling talent from national outlets. After building a loyal audience across radio, satellite, and podcasting, he now brings that following to 312 Sports. A reunion of sorts with Bernstein and Abbatacola will likely bring in some added attention since the three have not worked together in a capacity in nearly a decade.
