What Remains Unclear: Hubbard hasn’t announced when the Kris & Chelsea Morning Show will return to 100.7 KIK-FM. It’s also unclear whether the duo will continue hosting afternoons at Leighton Broadcasting’s Wild Country 98.9. Moreover, whether Kris will retain his country programming responsibilities there remains to be seen. Additionally, Hubbard hasn’t detailed whether Valentine’s appointment will lead to broader programming or operational changes across its stations. Financial terms remain private.

What It Means: Valentine’s return highlights the continued importance of familiar local personalities in radio, particularly in smaller markets where community connections can help build listener loyalty. His dual role also reflects a broader industry trend of broadcasters taking on multiple responsibilities. Meanwhile, bringing back the Kris & Chelsea Morning Show underscores the value of established on-air talent in maintaining audience relationships. Ultimately, the move shows how radio companies can lean on familiar voices and experienced leadership to strengthen their local presence.
