Kiss 98.5 has added Nikki Preston to its morning show lineup. She’ll join Nicholas Picholas and Wease weekday mornings on the Audacy station.
What We Know: Preston will co-host mornings on Kiss 98.5 (WKSE-FM) in Buffalo from 6:00 to 10:00 a.m. ET. A Rochester native, she returns to Western New York after spending more than a decade working in Southern California. Preston began her media career at 94.1 The Zone and co-hosted News 10 NBC’s Get Out of the House. She later worked at KOLA 99.9 in San Bernardino and Audacy’s ALT 94.9 in San Diego. Most recently, she hosted middays on 96.7 KCAL Rocks!.

What Remains Unclear: Audacy hasn’t announced whether Preston’s addition will bring any other changes to the station’s morning programming. The company also hasn’t detailed whether the show will incorporate additional podcast elements.
What It Means: Preston’s hiring brings an experienced radio personality back to her home region. Additionally, her experience across multiple Southern California markets gives Nicholas Picholas and Wease another voice with a background in major-market radio.
