It will be a day for the radio community to come together with one common goal, to support radio professionals in need of financial assistance due to a critical illness, accident, or disaster.
The network said in a release that over the course of the holiday weekend, segments will air in major U.S. cities including Boston, Washington, D.C., New York City, and Los Angeles.
In 1970, newspapers were doing OK, still making money from subscriptions, display advertising, and want ads (remember those?). Many big markets had two papers, and perhaps one was "failing." Who could have accurately predicted where the newspaper business would be in 2026?
