It will be a day for the radio community to come together with one common goal, to support radio professionals in need of financial assistance due to a critical illness, accident, or disaster.
The network said in a release that over the course of the holiday weekend, segments will air in major U.S. cities including Boston, Washington, D.C., New York City, and Los Angeles.
"There's something about hearing a voice. There's no visuals, so there's an intimate nature to the audio-only medium that I think is really difficult to replicate anywhere else."
